Job Description:

Description of the Project:

The internship project focuses on the development and improvement of mechanical transmission components, including gearboxes, for the aerospace industry. The intern will participate in comprehensive development activities and support stress and FEM analysis to ensure the structural integrity and performance of the components. The project will involve close collaboration with the Stress Analysis, Technology, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.

Substantive scope of the project:

1. Proposing and creating technical solutions for new designs or production improvements within the change management process.
2. Conducting technical research for product improvement or optimization, including functional analysis and validation of designed parts and systems.
3. Performing studies and structural analysis of gearbox parts, assemblies, and systems with load and static, dynamic, and fatigue analyses using Finite Element Method (FEM).
4. Day-to-day collaboration with colleagues across design, technology, quality, and manufacturing to provide technical support and drive product improvements.

Job Requirements:

1. Pursuing higher technical education in Mechanics, Aerospace, Structural Engineering, or related fields.
2. Understanding of technical documentation and definition drawing.
3. Basic knowledge of GD&T, stack-up calculations, and FEM analyses.
4. Good command of English (minimum B2 level).
5. Enthusiasm for conducting technical projects and teamwork.
6. Strong communication skills and ability to work under time pressure.
7. Problem-solving orientation and decision-making skills.
8. Nice to have: Knowledge of Gearboxes design processes and programming skills in Python, C#, VBA, etc.
