Job Description

The Assembler will perform manual labor on a production line and assemble parts for satellite systems.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a production team to assemble parts.
• Sort and place materials or items on tables, racks, or bins.
• Assemble satellite sub-assembly parts manually.
• Use various hand tools, measuring, and test equipment.
• Clean assembled parts and place them in protective bags or boxes.
• Pack, seal, and move boxes.
• Pick up, move, and sort small parts.
• Use small tools and jigs to manipulate parts for assembly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

• High school diploma or GED
• Permanent Resident Card Holder, or Non-Citizen allowed to work for any employer
• Associates degree or certificate in a technical area
• Assembly or manufacturing experience
• High aptitude to work with small electronics, including soldering of small electrical components or mechanical equipment
• Experience in the space or aeronautical field

Employees will receive a $750 monthly stipend when hired directly.

Work Environment

Clean room environment requiring the wearing of smocks, hair nets, beard nets, and shoe covers.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Midland, Texas

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
