Role Overview:
As a Assembly Mechanic youll be responsible for constructing, maintaining, and testing mechanical equipment, machinery, and components. You will identify parts in need of replacement and coordinate orders for necessary parts. With an opportunity to develop your skills through formal training and hands-on experience, youll make a valuable contribution to our team’s success.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance & Testing: Construct, maintain, and test mechanical equipment, machinery, and components to ensure they meet performance standards.
Parts Identification: Identify parts that need replacement and order necessary components to minimize downtime.
Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to address equipment issues and ensure smooth operation.
Training: Participate in apprenticeship programs or formal training to enhance technical skills in your area of expertise.
Compliance & Safety: Follow pre-established guidelines and adhere to safety procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
Lifting & Physical Requirements: Be prepared to lift items exceeding 30 lbs. and handle significant physical tasks related to equipment maintenance.
Required Qualifications:
2-4 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, repair, or a related field.
Knowledge of commonly-used mechanical concepts, practices, and procedures.
Ability to follow instructions and work with pre-established guidelines.
Comfortable working under immediate supervision and reporting to a supervisor or manager.
Physical ability to lift over 30 lbs. and perform repetitive physical tasks.
Willingness to work in an environment with potential exposure to machine, chemical, biological, or other physical risks.

Pay Details: $25.00 per hour
