Job Description

We are looking to add Automotive/GSE Technicians to our team. As a GSE Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on a variety of ground support equipment, including tugs, pushbacks, and belt loaders. The majority of your work will involve preventative maintenance tasks such as oil changes and brake jobs. You will also be expected to execute basic maintenance assignments involving automotive, electrical, and other related trade skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on up to 600 pieces of ground support equipment.
• Execute basic maintenance assignments involving automotive, electrical, and other related trade skills.
• Take direction and seek guidance from expert level mechanics.
• Read and interpret repair manuals, basic electrical and hydraulic schematics, and supervisor/manager instructions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and OSHA regulations.

• Tire technician experience

• 2+ years of experience as a mechanic (diesel, auto, hydraulics)
• High school diploma or GED
• Clean driving record
• Must provide own basic set of hand tools
• Flexibility on schedule and shifts

Work Environment

The work environment is a typical shop located in the cargo area of the airport. You will be required to obtain a SIDA badge and drive on the tarmac. Expect to work a flexible schedule, including some holidays, with shifts from Tuesday to Saturday, 10AM-6:30PM. Be prepared for occasional overtime, especially in the fall and winter seasons.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00/hr.
