We currently have an opening for a full-time permanent Customer Service Representative based in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada.
The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for responding to customer technical inquiries and parts requirements. The incumbent will act as the first point of contact, will not only provide technical support but also proactively manage customer relationships, ensuring a seamless experience.
In this role your duties will include the following:
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, handling technical and service-related inquiries.
- Coordinate with the engineering team to ensure timely and accurate responses to customer issues, including aircraft modifications, certifications, and system performance.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, promoting a customer-first mindset and identifying areas for improved service.
- Actively manage the overall customer experience, anticipating needs and ensuring a high level of satisfaction throughout their interaction with Conair.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline and enhance customer service processes. Provide feedback for improving service quality and resolving recurring issues.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service requests, and resolutions. Generate reports on customer service performance indicators and contribute to improvement initiatives.
- Work with engineering, production, and sales teams to ensure customer needs are fully understood and met, particularly in areas related to parts, repairs, and modifications.
- As needed, serve as a field representative during customer visits, technical meetings, or when assisting with Aircraft on Ground (AOG) issues.
We are looking for someone with:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing, maintenance, repair and modification of aircraft or aviation systems and components.
- Ability to develop estimates and quotations for labor and materials.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in time-sensitive situations.
- Proficient in building and maintaining positive customer relationships.
- Exceptional organizational skills, able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a dynamic work environment.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and customer focus under pressure, ensuring compliance with safety, security, and company policies.
- Excellent Computer Skills: word processing, spreadsheet and database programs
- The ability to organize one’s workload effectively and work well under the pressure of a deadline.
Training/Education:
- Completion of Grade 12.
- Diploma from a recognized college in aircraft maintenance.
- Previous employment experience of an AME 5 or its equivalent.
- Supervisory experience.
