Responsibilities:
- Strategic Development: Lead strategic planning, implementation, and evaluation for new business opportunities, emphasizing federal defense markets.
- Pipeline Management: Establish Department of Justice (DOJ) pipelines, develop call plans, and execute tactical sales strategies.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate long-term partnerships with key decision-makers and strategic allies.
- Client-Centered Focus: Identify customer needs and guide the business development process through qualification and service delivery stages.
- Team Collaboration: Work with the BD team to prioritize and manage opportunities, evaluate performance metrics, and drive organizational growth.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in pipeline development, strategic planning, and budgeting within federal IT government contracting.
- Proven ability to qualify and close deals to support at least a $1M line of business.
- Experience pursuing GWAC/IDIQ task orders in the federal IT market (desired).
- Clearance: Must be a U.S. citizen capable of obtaining/maintaining a federal security clearance.
- Travel: Willingness to travel as needed.
- Preferred Background: Previous experience with the FBI strongly preferred.
