Responsibilities:
Market analysis and Business Development:
1. Collect and analyze the market needs/trends, size of the market and the competitive landscape on aircraft aftermarket services including Flight and maintenance training service, Aircraft Maintenance, modification and upgrades, Fleet Efficiency, Engineering and Material Logistic and Supply Chain Services, Components Repair, Digital services and proactively propose evolutions of Airbus services portfolio in line with local market expectation
2. Keep updated information on the evolution of the competition in particular in the field of aircraft aftermarket services
3. In line with the strategic priorities, identify and propose new business opportunities and associated partners adapted to the Chinese market
4. Develop solutions and concepts for new services or products, strategic partnership which fit to the company’s strategy and meet the market demands.
Partnership development:
1. Identify and lead partnership projects in accordance with process including: a) Establish the most appropriate project structure and governance,
b) Ensure validation of projects objectives and associated resources,
c) Follow-up project progress and deliverables, propose and set project indicators (KPI) including link with M&A team when required,
d) Organize and animate project management in a structured and agile way,
e) Organize progress reviews with the different project or work package leaders across Airbus Service business lines,
f) Liaise with Airbus Centre to define the business model and business case for the partnership and get it validated,
g) Ensure that the required contractual set-up is in place (NDA, LoI, MoU, contractual agreement, JV, …)
2. Bring to business development team in Centre the local expertise on any business development projects
3. Ensure consistency of local projects with other projects of the Service Strategic Projects portfolio and corporate transformation platform
4. Manage, drum beat the projects to ensure the deliverables on time, quality and cost
5. Report to the Head of Service Strategy & Business Development and Operations , Airbus China Customer Service and to the sponsors of the projects on the progress and deliverables of the projects under your responsibility
Local support to Other Business Development Initiatives
1. Support global business development projects from the region by providing market intelligence, data and business input
2. Provide contextual information to the members of the business development team when needed for their respective projects in relation with political, economic, environmental and regulatory
3. Provide cultural awareness to the business development team members as required for their respective business related activities in China
4. Support the business development team in escalating topics to the local Airbus management in China
5. Support and ease the communication between the business development team and the Airbus colleagues in China
6. Support other business development projects in China
Requirements:
1. Strong business sense and customer minded with a strong intercultural understanding
2. Good analytical skills; ability to see the bigger picture and derive mid to long term recommendations on way forward
3. Creative, innovative and out of box thinking
4. Excellent communication, presentation and Negotiation skills
5. Think and resolve problems independently, quickly, and efficiently

9. Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills as well as the ability to work under the pressure of deadlines in a fast-paced and changing environment
10.Diplomatic sense and open/‘out-of-silo’ mind-set, ability to build successful relations across functions and with all stakeholders
11. Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skill and competence 12. Minimum 5 years working experience in the aerospace industry with strong Airline, aircraft leasing or MRO experience. Or in other industries such as automotive or business management and consulting companies;
13. Project management experience with business case building knowledge
14. English: read, written, spoken. Negotiation level.
15. Effective organizational and planning skills
16. Financial impact of decisions
17. Background on legal aspects in the area of services contracts would be a plus
18. Bachler or above and Major in Aerospace, Engineering, Economy & Business Management . MBA is preferred.
