Position Summary
Manufacturing of rubber products using a heavy press machine, deflash, tumblers, wash equipment and loading ovens.
Responsibilities
- Operating a heavy press machine per specific procedures
- Following an OD instruction sheet for machine set up, operations, and tear down
- Computer skills to print OD sheets, work tickets, labels and other paperwork
- Use of gauges, scales and other quality equipment
- Being able to identify basic variances found in the rubber products
- Complete paperwork on your productivity
- Participate as a High Performance Team member
- Use problem solving tools in troubleshooting
- Be able to operate solely or as a team member
- Be a role model toward safety
- Participate in recognizing near hit activity
- Load curing ovens based on specific programs
- Operate wash equipment for rubber products
- Be able to load, perform, and unload tumbler and deflash equipment
- Push/Pull/lift up to 70 bls.
- Operator heavy press machine using hoist, crane and lift assist equipment
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED desired
Work history 3 plus years
Basic computer skills
Be able to follow work instructions
Be able to recognize quality defects
Be able to run to rate or above
Closing Statement
1st shift position 7am-3pm Mon-Fri
