As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for programming CNC machines and operating multi-axis machines for both Department of Defense (DOD) and commercial aerospace parts. You will also complete first article inspection of print-to-build parts.

Responsibilities

• Program and run CNC multi-axis machines for aerospace and DOD parts.
• Conduct first article inspections to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Draft and create 3D models using Solidworks.
• Develop tool paths for parts and tools using FeatureCam/MasterCam.
• Set up and run CNC programs, with a strong understanding of G-code.
• Utilize 4-axis machining knowledge in daily operations.

• Proficiency in CNC machining and programming.
• Experience with multi-axis CNC machines.
• Knowledge of aerospace and defense manufacturing standards.
• Expertise in CAM software, particularly FeatureCam and MasterCam.
• Ability to set up and run CNC programs and understand G-code.
• Solidworks drafting and 3D modeling capabilities.
• Experience with Haas machines, including mill, vertical, and lathe.
• 3+ years of experience in CNC machining and programming.

• Experience in first article inspection.
• A history of long-term employment with previous employers.

Work Environment

You will work in a small aviation/aerospace manufacturing facility that specializes in complex sheet metal, machined components, and high-speed, burr-free cutting and forming of bar and tubular items.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $38.46/hr.
