Airbus International Services (AIS) requires on-site support of a specialist in the management of mission data with the objective of generating specialized reports. This role will be a full-time long term fixed contract. The position will be office based, located at the Customer premises in Baldonnell, Dublin, Ireland.

About the job:

The successful applicant will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Provide In Service Support to mission planning systems deployed at the Customer premises, answering technical queries and planning updates.
  • Analyse the surveillance data and tactical information gathered by Maritime Patrol Aircraft sensors using the Mission Support Centre.
  • Generation of a common database of the information collected to augment the data analysis capability of the Customer.
  • Sensor data analysis from LIDAR, IR/UV and Search Radar.
  • The successful applicant will be AIRBUS local champion in support of the FITS (Fully Integrated Tactical System) and MSC (Mission Support Center) upgrade Service.
  • The successful applicant will support the Customer and Airbus in feasibility analysis
  • The role will require several short business trips per year to Spain.

About you:
The successful applicant will bring:

  • University degree in a technical domain, e.g., aeronautics, computer science, telecommunications engineering or equivalent.
  • 5&43; years of experience on Mission planning systems and mission systems is an advantage.
  • 5&43; years of CN235/C295 (added advantage)
  • Mission planning systems, mission systems experience is an advantage.
  • English negotiation level required.
  • Domain of the components of Microsoft Office and windows at user level.
  • Team player, good communication skills and proactive mindset.

Note: the selected candidate must undergo military background vetting prior to commencement of operations.
