The easyJet Holidays Architecture team is a dynamic, forward thinking technology team, who’s purpose is to shape the longer-term direction of technology used by the easyJet Holidays business functions. The team play an active role in ensuring that programmes & projects move us in that direction through assuring the delivery of good quality, fit-for-purpose solutions. The Architecture team will need to be highly collaborative and work across a broad range of stakeholders, both in the business and within IT, to build understanding and ensure alignment on key decisions.
The Data Architect within the team will be focused on data-oriented solution design to support our key strategic initiatives, shaping the strategic direction for EasyJet Holidays data technology architecture and documenting our data technology landscape.
This a permanent position based in Luton. (Hybrid Working)
What you’ll be doing
- To lead the data architecture definition for complex end to end solutions, working with solution architects and technical leads covering each product under development, and the Head of Architecture driving the long-term architectural direction.
- To understand, document and govern data structures across multiple systems and business domains with cross-functional views of Operational
- Data, Data Management, Data Analytics, Data Engineering and Data Integration.
- Supporting direction of easyJet Holiday’s technology architecture, with a primary focus on our Data domains
- Designing applicable data architecture solutions for strategic initiatives and products under development
- Providing design and governance of Data Platform technology decisions.
- Defining and governing data architecture technology standards and patterns, working with the Head of Data on Data governance frameworks.
- Work closely with the Head of Data in providing data technology guidance and direction to support the delivery of our data strategy.
- Working closely with the data team, business owners and architecture, to define, maintain and govern logical and physical data models for Operational Data and Data Analytical solutions.
- Aligning with the Enterprise Data strategies with the organizations data and analytics goals and objectives and maintain, enhance documentation around current state Data Architecture.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency, integrity, and security throughout the data lifecycle.Staying up to date with industry trends and advancements in data architecture, data management, and analytics technologies.
