Description:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Modeler to join Lockheed Martins Supply Chain Analytics and Affordability Team. The Data Modeler will be responsible for creating and maintaining data models that accurately represent Enterprise Supply Chain data, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data modeling techniques, tools, and best practices, and extensive experience designing and implementing effective data models that support data management and analytics needs. The individual must have a desire to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with engineering team members and cross-functional business stakeholders.

Responsibilities:.
• Create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models that accurately represent the organizations data, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity
• Collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders to design and implement effective data models that support the organizations data management and analytics needs.
• Develop and maintain data model documentation, ensuring that it is up-to-date, accurate, and easily accessible to all relevant stakeholders.
• Conduct data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues, inconsistencies, and redundancies, and develop strategies to address them.
• Participate in data governance initiatives, ensuring that data models align with organizational data policies and standards.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in data modeling, and recommend changes to the organizations data modeling approach as needed.
• Develop physical data models based on logical data models for implementation in database management systems.
• Design and implement data models for various types of databases, including relational databases, NoSQL databases, and cloud-based databases.
• Ensure that data models are optimized for performance, scalability, and security.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience in data modeling, including experience in designing and implementing complex data models.
• Expertise in data modeling tools and techniques, including entity-relationship modeling, data warehousing, and big data modeling.
• Strong knowledge of data management principles, best practices, and standards, including data governance, data quality, and data security.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with data architects, developers, and business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify patterns, trends, and insights.
Desired Skills:
• Proficiency in data profiling techniques and data quality assessment practices
• Strong familiarity with data warehousing concepts, business intelligence tools, and data analytics platforms
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes, particularly for data originating from ERP systems such as SAP
• Demonstrated ability to transform operational data (OLTP) from ERP systems into analytical data models (OLAP) for use in data warehouses
• Understanding of LM supply chain and/or procurement processes

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $125,900 - $237,400. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as spanet and business considerations when extending an offer.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $109,500 - $209,900. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as spanet and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
