Job Description SummaryThe VP - Digital Technology reports to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Global Supply Chain and partners with the GE Aerospace Vice Presidents, General Managers, and senior functional stakeholders. Manages a team of 112 full-time Information Technology (IT) professionals and more than 120 contractors through a leadership team of 8 senior directors and directors.
Responsible for the business-facing IT team focused on developing and implementing digital solutions that transform business capabilities into new levels of cost entitlement and productivity. Oversees the digital operations and manufacturing execution ecosystems of 32 global manufacturing and office sites, ensuring the delivery of world class, compliant aerospace products and services.Job Description

Products
- Quality Management – Advance the roadmap to modernize our Quality Management System to support the reduction of defect, enable continuous improvement, and connect data through the entire engine lifecycle.
- Manufacturing Execution – Drive modernization of the shop floor execution capabilities, including SCADA, visualization tools, and MES systems.
- Advanced Technology – Develop forward-thinking, cutting-edge technology, including AI/ML, that solves producibility and productivity constraints for our world-class processes and products. Includes break-through technology for inspection, additive, electro-discharge machining (EDM), and CMC fiber/tape/product manufacture.
- Lean Tools – Lead the roll-out and proliferation of digital capabilities that support our lean manufacturing activities.
- Digital Workplace Service – Establish and optimize the operating model for the “new” digital workplace elements transitioned as part of business separation (Telephony, Video, Print, and On-Site Support/IT Lounges)
Partners
- Shop Floor – Go to Genba and be present at our sites. Listen to and support our front-line employees who are using our digital tools to create our world class products. Put the user experience first and make their lives easier!
- Manufacturing Engineering – Partner with the Chief Manufacturing Engineer and their organization to integrate the DT team into the technology maturation process of equipment, processes, and technologies.
- Global Quality – Partner with the GM of Global Quality to drive next-level quality management capabilities to support the critical safety and quality processes utilized by all of GE Aerospace.
- Lean – Partner with the Lean organization to drive a new supply chain manufacturing model built on the principle of de-centralization, empowerment, standardization, and problem-solving.
Process
- Implement ITIL principles and processes to drive robust management of product and site operations.
- Lead organization through unprecedented transformation.
- Strengthen our cybersecurity posture and risk response by implementing IT and OT controls to support CMMC compliance and robust BCP and DR plans.
- Oversees teams multimillion-dollar OPEX and CAPEX budget planning and execution, conducting regular reviews to ensure budget goals are met.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 12 years of professional experience OR
- Associates degree with minimum of 15 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 17 years of professional experience.
- Minimum 9 years of professional experience in Digital Operations or IT.
Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience
