Job Description:
A new offer is opened for an airframe engineer for Airbus Helicopters design office in Marignane.
You will join a team of 60 people in airframe design office. This team is in charge of airframe development for helicopters manufactured in Marignane.
Helicopters concerned are : Super Puma-H215/H225, H175, Light Helicopters (Squirel-H125 , Colibri-H130), Tiger and also old range fleet Puma-AS330, Dolphin-AS365/H155, H120, Gazelle. The team is also participating to new military version for H160 and innovation bricks for the helicopters of the future.
Airframe is primary and secondary airfarme.
Primary is about systems such as center fuse, tailboom, horizontal stabilizer. It is also parts such as skins, frames, beams, spar, junctions.
Secundary is about systems such as cowlings, doors, canopy.
Technical domain for those systems are miscellaneous and exciting: loaded parts (static loads, dynamic, fatigue); kinematic; locking systems (doors and cowlings); fire aspects (cargo, cowlings, engine area); birdstrike (canopy, cowlings); pilote visibility; vibrations; aerodynamic.
Development for airframe are driven by special attention on corrosion, choice of technology to be used and materials, weight, cost of parts, cost and lead time for industrialization.
We are looking for an experimented engineer (10Y) who will act as an airframe technical leader for customization of Super Puma contracts.
Airframe team is well structured and organized with a strong competence axis with experts and technical validation engineers. This will allow an easy and robust onboarding for new comers.
