Job Title: Electromechanical Technician
Job DescriptionThe Electro-Mechanical Technician will be responsible for the rapid manufacturing of sub-assemblies and finished systems. The day-to-day tasks will include a variety of assembly types such as cables, harnesses, panels, mechanical assemblies, and large system builds. In addition to assembly, this role will involve system troubleshooting and diagnostics. The technician will often interact with test technicians and engineers to resolve technical issues. This role requires comprehension of assembly documentation, safe and proper use of tooling, operation of material handling equipment, recording system information, adherence to company policies, and positive interaction with team members. Some finished systems may be large, requiring physical maneuverability around the product. The ideal candidate is positive, energetic, self-motivated, and ready to learn and contribute to the mission.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot technical issues with varying levels of complexity.
- Have a working knowledge of electrical theory and signal processing.
- Read and interpret work instructions, drawings, schematics, and other production-related documentation.
- Solder wires, PCBA’s, and components.
- Utilize basic hand tools and power tools.
- Use measuring tools such as multi-meters, continuity checkers, etc.
- Provide assembly feedback and suggest changes or improvements.
- Complete build records and documentation as required.
- Conduct quality checks on own work and may execute buddy checks on others work.
- Maintain workspace cleanliness and organization utilizing 5S methodologies.
- Follow manufacturing guidelines and procedures.
- Adhere to company regulatory and compliance policies.
- Participate in cross-training activities.
- Perform tasks with minimal supervision.
- Install software on various computer platforms.
- Demonstrate knowledge of computer hardware and operating systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues.

Additional Skills & Qualifications- 2+ years’ experience in manufacturing or research and development (R&D).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance (US citizenship required).
- ESD Awareness.
- Average computer skills for daily tasks.
- Attention to detail and quality consciousness.
- Drive and ambition to execute and complete work in a timely manner.
- Personal sense of integrity, trust, and respect.
- Strong interpersonal skills to set and maintain a positive culture.
- Current or expired certification in IPC 620, 610, 7711, 7721, or J-standard (preferred).

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
