Position Overview
The Estimator will be responsible for developing accurate cost estimates for aerospace manufacturing projects. This role requires expertise in interpreting engineering drawings, CAD models, GD&T, and related documents. In addition, the Estimator will support project industrialization efforts and collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers.
The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000 annually.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze engineering drawings, CAD models, GD&T, and specifications.
- Prepare detailed cost breakdowns covering materials, machining, special processes, tooling, and labor.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, supply chain, and quality teams to validate assumptions and ensure estimates are realistic.
- Communicate with external customers and suppliers to clarify technical requirements and commercial considerations.
- Maintain and update cost estimation databases, tools, and reference standards.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, cost estimating, or related technical role.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for engaging with internal teams and external customers.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while being agile.
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident).
