Key Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day facility maintenance and repairs, including basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, doors, fixtures, and lighting
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment; document and report findings
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and urgent facility issues; act as a first responder to system failures when needed
- Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot facility issues to minimize downtime
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall safety of the facility and surrounding areas
- Set up, break down, and relocate furniture, equipment, and materials as required
- Ensure supply rooms and bathrooms are properly stocked at all times
- Perform cleaning duties when required
- Coordinate and oversee vendors and outside contractors for specialized repairs or larger projects
- Assist with facility-related projects and improvements
- Monitor and respond to security and safety concerns
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies
- Work indoors and outdoors, including at heights, as required
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized manner
- Be available to work weekends and flexible schedules as needed
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Working knowledge of general maintenance systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; able to work independently and take ownership of issues
- Hands-on experience using hand and power tools, multimeters, and basic diagnostic equipment
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more and perform physical tasks throughout the day
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions and at heights
- Strong communication skills; able to interact professionally with management and staff
- Reliable, punctual, and highly dependable
- Proactive mindset; identifies and addresses issues without waiting to be directed
- Calm under pressure and solutions-oriented
- Team player with a strong work ethic and pride in maintaining the facility
