I am contacting you as we are currently looking for Aircraft fitters to start at GKN in Filton Bristol on a Permanent Basis.
Salary 35,336 + a 4 bonus scheme. The contracted hours are 35 per week with possible overtime

At GKN Filton site, we specialise in the design and manufacture of large complex structural wing assemblies, detailed metallic components and wing systems for a combination of both civil and military aircraft.
We&8217;re looking for qualified fitters to operate as multi-skilled, flexible workers to ensure maximum effectiveness and efficiency within the department.
Successful applicants will have a wide knowledge of hand and machine tools used in the aircraft industry including:
• Precussion riveting
• Drill/Ream/Countersink in panels with Vanmar tools
• Setting structures in build jigs
• Deburring of structures
• Fettling using approved setting tools
• Treatment touch-up in localised areas on aluminium
• Use of CNC pillar drills (DONAU)
• Part Marking + Identifying
