Collins Aerospace - Pueblo site, Colorado is a dynamic carbon brake machining operation. We are seeking for a Furnace Deck Operator I  to join our Carbon Brake team in Pueblo Colorado.  We create and ship out new carbon for aviation braking systems.  In this role, you will learn to operate the Furnace Deck.  You are willing to learn and thrive in a team environment.

Position works onsite at our Pueblo Colorado Facility

Shift differential paid for 12 hour shift.

Shift Schedule: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Shift Rotation: 4 days on, 4 days off.  Rotate to nights every 2 months.

What You Will Do

  • You will be trained on the basic operations of the furnace process

  • Operate support equipment such as Cranes, Forklifts, Vacuums, Scissor Lifts & Power Tools

  • Perform furnace reading, round and process flow

  • Provide process integrity and maintain process quality for all furnace process operations

  • Understand and comply with all Environmental Health and Safety rules (EH&S)

  • Be aware of, and look for ways to eliminate safety hazards and improve the overall safety of the workplace

  • Perform Equipment Preventative Maintenance as instructed

  • Communicate to your Supervisor any potential mechanical or safety issues with the equipment

  • Follow written procedures to maintain safety and ensure quality

  • Use your basic to intermediate computer skills

  • You will learn to recognize issues with the process equipment tolerance limits

  • Learn all Collins and customer specifications relating to finished, special processes, and policies

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications You Must Have

  • HS Diploma. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, and typically 2 years of relevant experience is required

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position

Qualifications We Prefer

  • 1 year Manufacturing or assembly experience

  • Basic computer skills

  • Forklift and overhead crane experience

The salary range for this role is $32,300 to $43,500 however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
