Digital Technology Interns are hired to focus on a particular area of the GE business based on availability of positions, the interviewers assessment, and the applicants preference. Focus areas could include but are not limited to Digital Platforms, Full Stack development, Cyber Security, Commercial, Data Analytics, ERP and more.
Digital intern assignments are dynamic and challenging based on the business needs and the type of work required. Interns have significant exposure to key IT and Software business leaders at GE; as well as a global internship support network to accelerate learning and development. Interns also have extracurricular opportunities to engage in various activities both socially and professionally.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Previous GE internship experience required
Currently enrolled in an Associates, Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program at an accredited university or credentialed software accelerator program.
Degree focused in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, IT Security, Informatics, Information Science/Technology, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering, Security and Risk Analysis, or other relevant STEM majors with Software/IT experience.
Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA off a 4.0 scale without rounding
Reliable transportation, as many of our sites do not have public transportation available
Willing to work in Cincinnati, OH or Detroit, MI
Eligibility Requirements:

Benefits:
Pay rates for this position begin at $20/hour and increase for each undergraduate year completed. Relocation support and housing assistance is available for those who relocate to a new city.
