Job Title: Ground Support Equipment (GSE) MechanicJob Description
We support the commercial and corporate aviation industries through the repair and restoration of equipment used on airport property, known as Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance
- Conduct system diagnostics
- Replace electrical components
- Replace hydraulic filters
- Replace seals and gaskets
- Repair or replace engines
- Repair or replace compressors
- Repair or replace generators
- Repair or replace transmissions
- Repair or replace differentials
- Replace basic 3-phase AC motors and panels
Essential Skills- Proficiency in diesel mechanics
- Mechanical and electrical repair skills
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
- Ability to use hand tools
- Troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills
- Experience with engines and heavy equipment
Additional Skills & Qualifications- 5 years of in-depth hydraulic and/or mechanical experience, excluding facility maintenance or HVAC
- Aviation experience is not required; on-the-job training specific to this industry is available to every employee
