The position is located in Copenhagen, Denmark.

What the Job Is:

As the Head of SAP Department, you will oversee all SAP-related functions, ensuring the successful implementation, maintenance, and optimization of SAP systems. This includes the operation of our SAP environment, where you will ensure system performance, reliability, and security. You will lead a skilled team of experts, collaborate with cross-functional departments, and manage strategic projects that align with our business goals. Your responsibilities will include developing SAP strategies, managing budgets and resources, ensuring IT operational excellence, and effectively overseeing vendor management within our SIAM structure.

How You Will Contribute to the Team:

In this leadership role, you will inspire and mentor your team, cultivating an environment of collaboration and growth. A key part of your role will be stakeholder management, where you will build trust and foster strong relationships with internal and external partners. By emphasizing IT operational excellence and effective vendor management, you will ensure efficient operation of the SAP environment and streamlined processes. Your strategic insights and solid business understanding will guide the SAP department in prioritizing initiatives that deliver real value to the organization, with a strong desire to implement long-lasting improvements, all while navigating our SIAM structure to enhance integration and service delivery across multiple vendors and services.

Your Profile:

  • Strong experience in people management: Skilled in leading and developing diverse teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and high performance.

  • Strong experience in operating complex IT environments: Proven track record in managing complex IT systems, ensuring seamless operations, high performance and effective 24/7 support.

  • Ability to stay calm in sharp situations: Resilient leader who can maintain composure and make sound decisions under pressure, navigating challenges with confidence.

  • Strong collaboration skills: Excellent ability to work across departments and build partnerships that drive operational stability, project success and organizational goals. This includes strong and important collaboration with our ecommerce team, our infrastructure team and our end-user support team.

  • Strong experience in vendor management: Demonstrated ability to effectively manage vendor relationships, ensuring alignment with business goals and performance standards.

  • Strong negotiation skills: Proven expertise in negotiating contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms that align with strategic objectives.

  • Strong general business acumen: Solid understanding of business principles and practices, enabling effective alignment of SAP initiatives with overall organizational goals.

  • Consistent focus on commitment: A strong emphasis on fulfilling commitments to create trust and reliability, ensuring accountability in all interactions.

  • Excellent communication skills in English: Proficient in both written and oral communication, capable of articulating complex ideas clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
