Position Summary
Responsible for participating in an intern development program to learn the various aspects of the Human Resource Department functions at the IGFG Division of Parker Hannifin. This includes performing primarily HR staffing duties to support the Mentor site.

- Assist with recruiting efforts – phone screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and participate in debrief sessions
- Assist with employee engagement and empowerment
- Participate/assist with High Performance Teams
- Assist in event planning, team member recognition programs, community outreach and other social programs
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Business Administration or similar degree.
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Presents self in a professional appearance and manner
- Organized, efficient and able to multi-task
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive issues
Pay rate is $20 per hour
