Head of Controlling (all genders)

Job Description:

Tasks

You are responsible for overseeing financial controlling across all LH InTouch locations, ensuring consistency in controlling practices & reporting. It includes strategic & operational planning, reporting, cash management, pricing analysis & development of unit cost & revenue controlling models.

Oversee annual budget, in-year forecasts & rolling planning
Ensure accurate & timely monthly, quarterly, annual financial reports for all LH InTouch operations. Communicate results with LH InTouch Management and Lufthansa partners.
Oversee invoicing, cash management processes & related reporting.
Manage year-end audit processes, serving as primary contact for auditors.
Lead cost-saving initiatives on global level & ensure alignment with business goals.
Collaborate with Client Program / Provider Management to calculate prices for tenders, refining price calculation mechanisms.
Drive the evolution of the internal controlling framework.
Develop & refine KPIs to improve LH InTouch’s cost efficiency & financial health.
Lead and mentor the Group Controlling team, fostering a high-performance culture

Requirements

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Controlling, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.
Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role with team leadership responsibilities.
Language Skills: English (fluent, written & spoken), German (beneficial)
Proven track record of effectively leading teams to meet objectives within set timelines.
Strong quantitative skills with meticulous attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Independent and highly motivated, with a strong sense of responsibility.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in key controlling software and tools.
- Advanced MS Office skills, particularly in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in SAP or other leading ERP systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with Power BI is an asset.
