Tasks

We continue to grow and are looking for a new member to strengthen our Management Team. We are hiring a Head of Operations (m/f/d) for our headquarters at Frankfurt international airport in Frankfurt am Main.

Develop and execute operations strategy that aligns with business goals.
Design and implement physical & digital processes to improve productivity, enhance quality and delivers on our customer promises.
Lead, mentor, and scale an international team of operations professionals across logistics, warehousing, and customer service.
Build, drive and maintain strong relationships with logistics partners, vendors, and suppliers, while ensuring adherence to operational standards and KPIs
Establish KPIs to monitor, report, and improve operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and on-time delivery rates.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve performance, reduce lead times and lower handling costs.
Ensure workplace safety as well as customs & supply chain compliance.

Requirements

Vocational training or a Bachelor/ Master’s degree in logistics or a similar field
At least 8 years of experience in aviation, air cargo, or logistics, including a proven track record in leadership roles.
Demonstrated success in process design, management, and optimization - Six Sigma certification is a strong advantage.
Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and proactively within a fast-paced environment, with a strong hands-on mentality.
Skilled in using eCommerce platforms and logistics software; tech-savvy with a quick adaptability to new tools and technologies.
Advanced skills in analytical tools, especially Microsoft Excel and statistical software.
Fluent in German (C2) and English (C1).
