Job Description:
STS Aviation Services is rapidly growing, and we are looking for a Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Officer to join our team at the Manchester Hangar. As the leading UK MRO, we are excited to welcome you to be a part of the next chapter in our journey. Duties & Responsibilities

Support and advise STS Aviation Services UK Ltd. on Health and Safety at all UK locations.
Monitor standards, processes, communications, training, and systems to ensure compliance with Health and Safety responsibilities.
Ensure a safe workplace environment without health risks.
Collaborate with HSE Managers to meet statutory obligations related to health, safety, and welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting.
Conduct regular reviews of risk assessments for all work equipment and operations with Managers.
Document, investigate, and recommend improvements for all accidents.
Ensure proper reporting of safety inspections, fire drills, fire alarms, risk assessments, and lone working procedures.
Assist in delivering health & safety policies, systems of work, and procedures.
Maintain full and accurate health and safety and training records.
Stay updated with relevant health, safety, and welfare at work legislation and communicate changes to the business.
Participate in monthly meetings to report on relevant health & safety matters for STS Aviation Services UK Ltd.

Skills and Experience

IOSH Managing Safely certification.
Maintain confidentiality in all matters.
Professional approach with strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
Ability to work cooperatively with others to complete tasks and implement process improvements.
Skilled in gathering, analyzing, and reporting on key H&S data/statistics.
Proficient in IT, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
