Our Operations HR team is looking for an intern to join our team for Summer 2025!
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) Intern at Lockheed Martin will be placed in a team environment where they will work on projects that align with the companys HR strategy. Each HR Intern will obtain hands on experience through projects that will be assigned in HR functional areas such as: Total Rewards and Performance Management; Labor Relations; Talent and Organizational Capability; Diversity, Inclusion, and Equal Opportunity Programs; and Workforce Strategy, Analytics, and Talent Acquisition. Assignments are based on business needs coupled with the candidates education, experience, and career interests.
Outside of projects, our interns may have the ability to get a taste of what it is like to be an HRBP at Lockheed Martin. This would be partnering with a current team member to provide HRBP support to a client group. Experience could include employee relations situations, leadership development, and assisting with day-to-day questions.

Basic Qualifications:
• Demonstrate an interest and ability to enter the HR field and be pursuing either an undergraduate or advanced degree in HR, labor relations or a related area
• Effective written and verbal communications skills
• Strong project management and problem solving skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
• This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining both remote work and onsite reporting at the Lockheed Martin Littleton, CO facility.

• Experience or interest in learning about leading a group discussion and capturing feedback
• Leadership potential and competencies as evidenced by good citizenship, achievement and involvement in non-academic pursuits such as extracurricular activities, community service, or special projects

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $42,120 - $48,464. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as spanet and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
