About us:
The Broughton based Industrial Academy, develops and delivers world class training for our customers in Operations. We take great pride in our ability to coach and up-skill colleagues whether they are already experienced or new to the business; ultimately enabling them to build the world’s finest Wings!
You’ll be working with a passionate and highly motivated team who have a wealth of knowledge covering production processes, lean tools/systems, manufacturing engineering and planning/logistics.
Additionally, we work closely with teams based in France, Germany, Spain and the US; you’ll get the opportunity to work collaboratively with these colleagues too.
We’re an open, trusting team where both fun and accountability matter.
What you will be doing:
Teamwork and effective communication are key skills and we’ll help you develop these. You’ll be working on exciting projects as we prepare the future; exploring innovative training methods and the skills we’ll need to build the aircraft of tomorrow!
Some of your main responsibilities will be:
- Support the review and development of learning solution;
- Taking advantage of new ways of teaching (for example: digital means);
- Taking part in meetings with colleagues, managers and internal customers;
- Supporting the delivery of practical training in our workshops.
We’re always looking to improve and will welcome your ideas too!
Requirements:
Our placements are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Studying towards a degree in Human Resources, Business, or equivalent;
- Google Suite knowledge;
- Enthusiasm and a strong interest in developing yourself, which contribute to the success of the Academy team and the Airbus family;
- STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) subject qualifications are preferable together with the desire to work in a technical team environment.
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Eligibility to gain UK SC Security Clearance OR You will be subject to a BPSS check (including a criminal record check).
