Job Description:
Description: Install all valves, pumps, fittings, tubing, etc., required in the installation of hydraulics, lubrication, fuel and related systems.
Typical Responsibilities
Work in accordance with standard procedures and follow blue print or verbal instructions to install tubing, valves, pumps, filters, instruments. Etc., and connect and tie in all components of hydraulics systems, lubrication, fuel and heating systems.
Also connect lines to, calibrate and check, pressure type instruments such as altimeters and airspeed indicators.
Assist higher labor grade plumber in performing check-out operations.
Installation of tubing and various systems components required torquing nuts, some simple hand bending and fitting to insure correct installation.
Perform operator checklist as required.
Contribute to the overall effectiveness of equipment by performing operator required upkeep.
Refer only unusual conditions to working leader or supervisor.
As required segregate waste material and follow good housekeeping practices.
Follow all rules and regulations pertaining to environmental health and safety.
Basic Qualifications:
Requires knowledge of decimals and fractions and use of variable measuring instruments to work from ordinary drawings or specifications.
Some knowledge of assembly, fitting and installation methods required.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
