POSITION: Lean Consultant
DUTIES: Liaise with Corporate to assure alignment with P3E objectives and methodology, communicating openly and effectively the value of Embraer’s Excellence Program. Partner with suppliers, internal customers, subsidiaries, and regulatory agencies, identifying opportunities to improve process. Support the implementation of Embraer Excellence Program at all levels of the organization through coaching and deployment of Lean principles. Plan, coordinate and implement Lean activities as required, including: kaizen events or other Improvement workshops targeted towards improving the businesss performance as a key driver of continuous improvement. Partner with business leaders in developing a portfolio of continuous improvement projects that are aligned with Business Unit goals and objectives. Perform value stream analysis, identifying waste, coaching and driving Lean principles and methodologies for waste elimination. Monitor the project improvement implementation, conduct critical analysis review and approve each project conclusion. Assess and controls area and operational activities, processes and programs related to the Kaizen.
REQUIREMENTS: Employer requires 2 years experience in job offered, Mechanical adjuster and Production Intern, or related aviation occupation. Experience must include: 1) KPO – Kaizen Promotion Officer (Continuous Improvement), 2) Training Leader, 3) Coaching Leaders, 4) Training Consultants, KPOS, continuous Improvement Agents, 5) Value Stream analysis, 6) 5S (structured assessment and training to prevent possible causes of work interruption, quality problems associated with the process, product, or service, and even prevents causes that could create an unsafe working environment for employees.) and 7) TPM - Total Productive Maintenance.
