Job Description
Seeking an IT Programmer/ Software Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software development, particularly with .NET C, and demonstrate the ability to design, architect, and develop complex programs. This should be coupled with the ability to thrive in a detail-oriented, fast-paced environment and possess the ability to problem-solve. This role develops, enhances, and troubleshoots applications. Includes analysis, programming, and configuration of end user applications and/or systems software including: Analyzing detailed business/functional/technical requirements and specifications for the application, coding internally developed applications and/or configuring commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) applications using programming, scripting, and database languages, supporting application testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding application enhancements. In the beginning, 90 will be learning the Airfoils developing process, getting acquainted with the other developers in Airfoils, and learning the SQL schema. In the next phase this person will develop a basic application 50 and troubleshoot/make small enhancements to existing applications 50. Next phase will be developing a major application with our Database Administrator for 70 and troubleshooting/make small enhancements 30. Finally, solo development of an application for 75 and troubleshoot/make small enhancements 25.
Specific Duties:
• Architect, develop, and maintain software solutions using .NET C.
• Provide support and enhancements to legacy systems, including those developed in VB6.
• Build modern web applications using Blazor.
• Leverage Python for scripting and application development as needed.
• Manage and maintain databases using Microsoft SQL Server.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize applications to ensure optimal performance.
• Document technical designs, processes, and procedures.
Qualifications:
• Able to meet deadlines and be accountable for quality/ quantity.
• Able to work flexible hours with a history of dependability as demonstrated with strong attendance record.
• Comfortable using a team approach to problem solving.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Proficiency in .NET C and a strong understanding of software architecture principles.
• Familiarity with VB6 and the ability to support legacy codebases.
• Experience with Blazor for modern web development.
• Basic knowledge of Python for scripting or integration tasks.
• Expertise in working with Microsoft SQL Server databases, including query writing and optimization.
• Highly attentive to detail, inquisitive, and eager to solve complex challenges.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Proficiency in .NET C and a strong understanding of software architecture principles.
• Familiarity with VB6 and the ability to support legacy codebases.
• Experience with Blazor for modern web development.
• Basic knowledge of Python for scripting or integration tasks.
• Expertise in working with Microsoft SQL Server databases, including query writing and optimization.
• Highly attentive to detail, inquisitive, and eager to solve complex challenges.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
