Looking for inspectors on both B and D shifts for level 3. Working for a private aerospace company's state-of-the-art engine manufacturing facility in Huntsville, Alabama.
D shift is Fri-Sun 5 am-5 pm, but you'll be paid for 40hrs. Any hour over 36 is OT.
We are getting ready to launch a new industry-leading heavy lift payloads rocket and launch a line in lunar permanence and exploration.
This can convert to a FTE/Direct hire.
Prescreen interview questions:
- What is your process when you find an out-of-tolerance condition when inspecting hardware?
- Does True Position control orientation?
- What Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance standards are you familiar with?
Responsibilities:
- Setup, program, and operate Gom Blue Light or Leica Laser Tracker or Taylor Hobson Runout machine or Hexagon CMM or LK CMM or Keyence PCMM using design data to inspect make, and buy components.
- Troubleshoot inspection results by mechanical inspection setup using a surface plate and mechanical hand tools
- Perform first article inspections and documents per AS9102.
- Perform in-process and final inspections.
- Document, track, and complete discrepancy reports.
- Perform daily/weekly/monthly PM on machines and documents.
- Maintain configuration control on files and job records.
- OT is eligible.
