Your locationYou will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilitiesAnalyze current test computer landscape deployed in a representative avionics test bench including usage patterns
Identify security risks and limitations of the current architecture
Propose an authentication and system management architecture improving the overall security of the test environment, possibly based on existing infrastructure elements, like smartcards
Deploy the proposed solution on a testbench consisting of networked and air-gapped components with ability to run on Linux and Windows
Evaluate the solution against previously defined criteria, e.g. impact on test systems, impact on usability, ease of administration, improvement potential with respect to the current setup
Desired skills and qualificationsEnrolled full-time student (d/f/m) in the area of Computer Science or an equivalent field of study
First practical experience in the field of security architecture and authentication methods is desirable
Fluent in German
Basic cryptography
Linux and Windows Operating system administration
