JOB DESCRIPTION: AIRCRAFT DETAILER
FLSA STAUS: NON-EXEMPT
REPORTS TO: ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF MAINTENANCE
WORK STATUS: FULL TIME
Under the direction and guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager, the Aircraft Detailer position is to maintain the aircraft interior and exterior in clean condition in accordance with established companies’ policies and procedures.
The classification of this position is broad and assigned specific functional areas; duties and assignments may overlap depending on the operational needs of the department.

- Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Must have authorization to work in the U.S. as defined in the Immigrations Act of 1986.
- Able to attend and pass required training.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow instructions
- Willing to be flexible on schedule – if needed work holidays, weekends, split shifts – schedule might be subject to change
General Duties:
- Vacuum aircraft interior, polish aircraft, clean seats and flight deck, and disinfecting headsets.
- Wash exterior, drying, removing carbon and scratches.
- Cleaning the exterior and interior of the company vehicles and Aircraft.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Subject to applicable laws and Companys policies, regular attendance is an essential function of the position. All employees must follow companys employment practices and policies.
Requirements for the position:
Education • High School Diploma or equivalent.Experience & Skills• Previous detailing experience a preferred. • Great attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to work on a ladder, move shop equipment to aircraft locations.• Must be aware of surrounding areas, moving aircraft and delicate aircraft and how to keep from damaging it.• Working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions as required.• Frequently stooping, climbing, bending, kneeling, and using repetitive motions every day
• Must be able to meet all physical requirements related to aircraft weight limitations before and during employment
