Position Summary
- Lead layered process audit system. Including daily communication & monthly metric reporting
- Lead plant-wide 5S program, managing projects & coordinating resources to help other teams complete their goals.
- Learn problem solving techniques and participate in problem solving sessions to identify root causes
- Perform Job Safety Analyses to identify potential risks to team member safety
- Assist with 2P events to brainstorm potential new manufacturing cell layouts
- Generate standard work instructions
- Conduct time studies
- Participate on, facilitate, and/or lead HPTs. (High Performance Teams)
- Complete equipment/process capability studies and analyze data
- Lead Gage R&Rs Studies,
- Learn basic gauging techniques
- Develop standard work
- Participate in kaizen events
- Complete Process Audits
- Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to learn and troubleshoot cameras for vision inspection
- Ability to problem solve manufacturing processes and implement corrective actions
- Implement other projects as necessary
Qualifications
MINIMUM CUMULATIVE GPA 3.0 ALLOWED
SCHOOL YEARS: Sophomore, Junior, Graduating May 2023 - December 2025
ALLOWED MAJORS: All Construction Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Network Engineering, Nautical/Naval Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, General Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Agriculture & Biological Engineering, Civil/Environmental Engineering, Packaging Engineering, Energy Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Chemical Engineering majors
WORK AUTHORIZATION REQUIREMENTS: US work authorization is required.
