A Cabin Manager is a vital part of SAS’ leadership and acts of the first line leadership to motivate, guide, support and follow up on our excellent Cabin Crew.

A team player - who want to take on the challenge of being involved in developing the Stockholm base in close collaboration with the Head office in Stockholm. The focus is to ensure working conditions for our Cabin Crew to achieve the high goals within Safety & Customer Satisfaction. In your daily leadership, your Cabin Crew is in the center and focus working through strong communication, cooperation, and trust.
Your daily workplace is Crew Base Arlanda with occasional visits in Head Office in Stockholm. In Crew Base Arlanda, we currently have about 800 employees. Including you, - there will be four Cabin Managers in Crew Base Arlanda. The position reports to the Head of Cabin Crew, Copenhagen which is organizational placed in Head Office in Stockholm with regular visits at the Cabin Crew Bases. The Cabin Manager will be a part of the local management team in Crew Base Arlanda and a part of the Scandinavian Cabin Crew leader group.
As Manager Cabin Crew, you will have personnel responsibility for about 150 Cabin Crew. Cabin Managers overall goal is to create conditions for Cabin Crew to achieve the goals for Safety, Punctuality and Care and to provide our customers with a competitive customer service. An important focus in your leadership is to ensure that Cabin Crew has insight and understanding of SASs business, commercial offering, and objectives. You need to inspire your group of Cabin Crew and always have “employee engagement” it the back of your mind. In your role as Cabin Manager, you are responsible for delivery and follow-up, communication, development and change work, competence development activities and recruitment processes.
You are responsible for ensuring that Cabin Crew has the prerequisites to comply with SAS Aviation Operations Standard Procedures and coordinate scheduling issues with Crew Planning.
You will also be responsible for the delegated daily work environment of Cabin Crew, thus working with work environment.
You will be included in a team who is responsible for sharing an “urgency phone watch”.
