AIRBUS and Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M), offer a full time programme that combines a Master in Airframe Technology and an 11 month internship at AIRBUS facilities.
Master tuition fee: 9000 (possibility of payment installments per semester) & you will receive a grant of 875gross/month during the internship.
The internship shift is 35hours/week from Monday to Friday (8:00-15:00) during eleven months (august excluded), with a grant of 875/month.
The University lectures will take place from Monday to Thursday between 17:00-21:00. Some sessions might be organized on Friday.
The Master in Airframe Technology and Internship will start in April 2025. The programme will finish after 1 academic year.
What is the academic content of this Master?
Carried out by professionals working in aeroespace industry (including Airbus Employees) The Master in Airframe Technology in English contains the following modules:
- Master General, Tutoring & Invited Lectures (6.2 ECTS)
- Airframe Design. What for? (5.8 ECTS)
- Computer Aided Design (CATIA) - Digital Mock-Up (5 ECTS)
- Finite Element Modelling (4.4 ECTS)
- Design (9.2 ECTS)
- Structural Tests and Mechanical Characterization of Aeronautical Components (4.1 ECTS)
- Checkstress (4.4 ECTS)
- Fatigue and Damage Tolerance (4.1 ECTS)
- Airframe Design. What if? (5.8 ECTS)
- Practical Exercise (5 ECTS)
What does this internship consists in?
The Master in Airframe Technology program includes a part-time paid internship at the AIRBUS Spain facilities. During the internship period (11 months), the students will solve real airframe technology projects under the supervision of a Company Mentor. In addition to the real-work experience, the industrial placement helps Master in Airframe Technology students to create a network of contacts.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for recent graduates of Master Degree in any branch of Engineering related to aerospace and structures or recent graduates of Bachelor Degrees highly motivated in the aerostructure field
More relevant Degrees:
- Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering
- Industrial Engineering (all specialties)
- Civil Engineering
- Other related studies with an emphasis on design and calculation structures.
- Languages: Advanced level of English. Spanish, French and/or German will be taken into consideration
- International experience will be a plus
- Team player, ability to take initiative and ownership of projects & results driven with innovative mindset
