Position Summary
The MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) Shop Foreman reports into the Operations Manager and is responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the MRO shop, including supervision of Technicians, Leads and Supervisors, GSE and 6S oversight, maximizing revenue and promoting a safety culture. The MRO Shop Foreman plays a key role in maximizing productivity by maintaining a well-organized and productive shop environment and is responsible for all aircraft maintenance related product support functions for CLA. The following are direct reports into this position: MX Supervisors.
Shift: Day Shift, Monday - Friday 7 am to 3:30 pm
Compensation: $130,000 - $176,800
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage a team of MRO Supervisors providing guidance, support, and training. Assign work orders, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion.
- Overseeing the daily floor operations of the maintenance department
- Ensures and monitors quality of work performed by all maintenance employees
- Assists in developing capital and operating budgets.
- Ensures all aircraft maintenance is scheduled and completed timely and efficiently
- In collaboration with Planning and Scheduling, develop and maintain repair schedules for MRO activities. Coordinate with production and other departments to minimize disruptions.
- In collaboration with the Quality Assurance team, ensure all repairs and maintenance activities meet or exceed established quality standards. Implement and enforce quality control processes.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and industry standards.
- Assist Maintenance teams with diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.
- Prepare and submit reports on MRO activities, including work order performance (WIP).
- Reviews applications, interviews candidates, and approves the hiring of technicians and support staff as needed
- May participate and assist with Maintenance Admin Support Manager functions and duties.
- Will be required to perform hands-on maintenance on managed and transient aircraft.
- May delegate all duties assigned. However, such delegation does not relieve overall responsibilities.

- Meet budgeted margins, warranty and rework for 145 Repair Station Business line
- Meet budgeted expense for maintence department
- Meet budgeted EBITDA and Gross Margin for Aircraft Maintenance business line
- Meet defined Customer Service Metrics
- Meet defined Safety and 6S metrics for business line and other KPIs as identified
Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalency in experience.
Experience
- Must have at least 8 years of Supervisory Experience in a business MRO facility.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of MRO principles. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment. Familiarity with maintenance software and systems.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to motivate and manage a team. Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Shop environment with exposure to noise, dust, and fumes. May be exposed to hazardous materials or chemicals.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to establish sound business relationships with business aviation personnel.
- Assist with CLA strategic planning and execution
