At Parker’s Industrial Process Filtration Division, we collaborate with our customers to offer filtration solutions for complex contaminant management issues. Our aim is to enhance product quality and safeguard critical equipment against maintenance issues and downtime.
The Industrial Process Filtration Division directly supports North America. In addition, IPF works with our global Parker Hannifin regional entities to leverage IPF products across the globe.
Position Summary
PURPOSE
Operate and use manufacturing equipment and tools and follow established processes and procedures to safely, expeditiously and efficiently produce a quality product.
Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties may include all those associated with an Assembler position, plus the following:
Set up and operate specified machinery with assistance from Supervisor, Lead, or support personnel.
Read production orders to verify quality standards for quantities and labeling.
Monitor machine operation and material availability.
Verify that production parts and processes conform to applicable work instructions.
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
Apply a working knowledge of IPF Division’s product line.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Follow the 5S system.
TOOLS
Must be able to use all tools of an Assembler (Core Department may be an entry level hire), plus:
Box stapler.
Assorted wrenches.
Rubber mallet.
Pliers.
Grease gun.
Hand tools.
Band saw.
Cut-off saw.
Glue machine and processes.
Sonic sewing machine.
Grinder.
Calipers (Core).
Micrometers (Core).
Go/No Go gauges (Core).
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Must be able to:

Ability to recognize when equipment requires or is likely to require maintenance or repair.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma and/or GED.
Related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock.
