Northrop Grumman Mission Systems has an opening for a Manager Facilities 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Woodland Hills, CA and also manage several locations in Northern California to include Sacramento, San Jose, and some satellite locations.
The Facilities manager oversees strategy, planning, facility operations, and project execution of a growing portfolio for Woodland Hills, Sacramento, and San Jose campuses. This portfolio consists of ~900,000 square feet (unclassified & classified) over 37 acres, 13 buildings, and roughly 1,500 employees.
In this role you will:
Manage Staff of exempt/non-exempt and contracted workers
Ability to attract, retain and develop talent and execute a cohesive strategy to create an inclusive culture and build an engaged workforce
Manage and forecast multi-million dollar allocated indirect budgets
Develop, oversee, manage and forecast capital planning needs for each location
Act as liaison with business/organizational units to obtain & interpret program facilities space requirements
Develop and Oversee campus master planning at each location focused on utilization, organizational needs and efficiency, capital availability, and future business outlook
Oversee and ensure accuracy of space data for Office, Lab, Manufacturing, & Warehouse Space Use & Occupancy (Employee and Square Footage)
Oversee the allocation of Office, Lab, Manufacturing, & Warehouse Space for all locations
Develop and recommend long-range plans to meet future business needs
Oversee the execution of preventative/predictive maintenance programs with a focus on reaching companywide sustainability goals
Familiarity with building operations and systems
May provide liaison with owners of rented office space in matters relating to planning and execution of alterations/leasehold improvements, occupancy, and adherence to lease allowance and terms
Forecasting Sector/Division Level Site Space Utilization Requirements (LRSP)
Developing Executive Level Space Facilitation Plans & Briefing Executive Management
Facilitate and manage communications with internal customers, management, organization stakeholders, and Facilities teams through organized processes to ensure that pertinent information is defined, collected, shared, understood, stored and retrieved in a manner that effectively meets needs across multiple organizations. This includes the articulation of Facilities strategies and future state site scenarios.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Facilities Management and/or Planning, Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or other related field with 9 Years of related experience; OR a Masters Degree with 7 years of related experience or 13 years of facility experience in lieu of degree.
3-5 Years of experience successfully managing and leading teams
Experience with Facilities Management and Maintenance Systems such as Archibus, Maintenance Connection, AutoCAD, Revit, etc.
Experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Department of Defense Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
LEED AP, LEED Green Associate, WELL AP
CFM or FMP designation or equivalent
Environmental Sustainability experience
Experience in "Classified" Building Facilities Infrastructure & Space Planning
Experience in Real Estate Acquisition and Management
Experience in developing and leading executive level briefings
Possesses active U.S. Government Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance
Salary Range: $135,800 - $203,600
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
