What You Will Be Doing
The Manufacturing Support Team Member is responsible for supporting various production and business processes in a dynamic, team-based environment. This role involves working across key areas like production planning, quality management, material control, and process improvement. The candidate will facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training to peers, and collaborate with internal and external customers to resolve issues and enhance operations. Ideal for a proactive and team-oriented individual, this position offers the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient production planning, scheduling, and control across various manufacturing processes.
- Participate in process reengineering and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, quality, and overall operational performance.
- Ensure adherence to quality management standards, identifying and addressing issues to maintain product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members and peers, promoting skill development and fostering a culture of collaboration and growth.
- Communicate with internal and external customers to support product planning, resolve challenges, and implement improvements that meet client needs.

Basic Qualifications:
-Tool Control Experience.
-Experience in inventory control/audits/cycle
counts and annual inspections.
-Experience in manufacturing/maintenance environment.
-Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
-SAP, AMCS, Maximo experience or industry used MRP/ERP systems.

-Attention to detail and strong record-keeping.
-Experience with Perishables/Consumables
-Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
-Sound critical thinking skills.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
