• Location: Taufkirchen/Ottobrunn

• Start: As soon as possible

• Duration: 6 months

You will join the department on Future Navigation Programs at Airbus Defence and Space. The department is pioneering navigation systems and technologies to enable accurate, reliable and resilient Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT).

You will acquire an in-depth insight into 5G PNT and you will have the opportunity to participate in the design and implementation of user receivers for first-of-a-kind navigation demonstrators.

• Research on signal processing concepts and algorithms for OFDM positioning receivers.

• Development of signal processing for positioning using Python and C&43;&43; receivers.

• Experiments using software-defined radio (SDR) on existing 5G NR commercial and private networks.

• Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Navigation or similar field of study.

• You have a solid understanding of the principles of navigation receivers and a strong interest in signal processing and/or navigation.

• You are familiar with software-defined radio and have experience with signal processing of field recordings.

• You are comfortable in programming languages for developing algorithms and techniques (Python/C&43;&43;) targeting real-time operations.

• You are fluent in English or in German

• You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently.
