The Lockheed Martin Enterprise Performance Management & Culture team is seeking a highly motivated and organized intern to support our Performance Management, Culture, and Change Management initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a solid understanding of HR processes, and a keen interest in learning about organizational development. This is an excellent opportunity for students pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, or related fields.
This is a great virtual opportunity to gain meaningful experience with subject matter experts in organizational development at Lockheed Martin.
This role will offer opportunities to support multiple centers of excellence and high-visibility HR Projects including:
• Assist in the administration and coordination of performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback requests, check-ins, and year-end close-outs.
• Assist in creating and maintaining documentation for performance management and change management policies and procedures.
• Support the implementation and communication of change management initiatives, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum adoption.
• Conduct research on industry best practices in performance management, change management, and employee engagement.
• Participate in meetings, workshops, and training sessions, taking notes and contributing to discussions as appropriate.
• Provide general HR administrative support as needed.
There will be opportunities to support all our business areas and work with multiple partners and stakeholders.
This role offers the opportunity to support high-visibility HR projects, interact with business management and HR, and create deliverables for the highest levels of leadership in a major corporation.
Basic Qualifications:
• Pursuing a graduate-level (Master’s or PhD) degree in Human Resources, Industrial-Organizational Psychology or similar discipline.
• Completed coursework in Organizational Psychology, Performance Appraisal, and Psychology of Training and Evaluation or similar courses.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Effective communication of complex ideas to a variety of audiences.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, virtual environment.

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $35,173 - $67,392. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as spanet and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
