What You Will Do:
The Field Engineering department is seeking a Patriot Operator Maintainer to join our team in support of The Ukraine Patriot Tech Assist (TA) program. This position is located at a remote site near the city of Rzeszow, Poland. Interested candidates need a solid background in one or more of the following: organizational maintenance, intermediate maintenance, and/or tactical operations of the Patriot System. Daily duties include providing remote Patriot support with the end user in the field real time, updating reports, interfacing with numerous US Govt. entities. The selected candidate will provide expertise on system software application (e.g., initialization, operation, and training). Supports tasks that ensure the integrated Patriot System is fully operational to include all aspects of the Air Battle at the BN and FU levels. Supports Patriot Air Defense Forces in its system refresher operator training to battery and battalion personnel to maintain, improve, and upgrade skills. Performs other related duties as required or directed by the Site Lead, Deputy Site Lead and Global Patriot leadership.
Candidates for this position will be on a Long-Term International Assignment (LTIA) in Poland.
Qualifications You Must Have :
Must have successfully completed training in one of the following Patriot, Systems Maintenance, or Ordinance related Military Occupational Specialty courses and been awarded one of the following 14A, 14E, 14T, 140E, 140K, 140L, 94S, 948D MOS designators. This formal training must have been conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) or an equivalent course of instruction conducted by the Patriot Missile System or Ordinance Contractor.
Must have at least 5 years of experience with the Patriot Air Defense System.
Experience with providing Technical Advice and Assistance to Patriot Battery personnel with operational and tactical procedures with the Patriot System.
Experience with the operation and management of exercises utilizing practice scenarios with the Patriot Engagement Control Station (ECS) and Information and Coordination Central (ICC).
Prior participation in conduct of On-the-Job Training (OJT) Programs.
Demonstrated experience with integrated Battalion and Fire Unit-to-Fire Unit (FU-FU) operations to include interoperability with higher echelons.
Must have excellent communications skills with a variety of stakeholders.
MUST HAVE CURRENT SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE, A VALID US PASSPORT, AND A US DRIVERS LICENSE.
What to expect:
Generate recurring technical and programmatic reports as required.
Assist in on boarding, training, and covering for members of the Technical Assistance Team.
Maintain End user interaction log.
As required, support End User Training, Equipment Fielding, and Maintenance and assessments of retrograded equipment.
Represent Raytheon leadership in conversations and interactions with others.
Qualifications We Prefer :
Demonstrated experience instructing Patriot organizational classes in the classroom and on the tactical equipment or Patriot training equipment in the following areas: March Order and Emplacement, System Initialization and Mapping, Air Defense Mission (ADM) against Air-Breathing Threats (ABT) and Tactical Ballistic Missiles (TBM), Guided Missile Reload.
Good working knowledge of PATRIOT communication links.
Experience with providing Technical Advice and Assistance to Patriot Battery personnel with operational and tactical procedures with the Patriot System.
Prior participation in System Integration and Check-Out (SICO) process.
Good working knowledge of PATRIOT communication links.
Demonstrated one (1) year of Collective Training experience or assignment to a deployed PATRIOT Battalion in CONUS or OCONUS.
Graduate of the U.S. Army Top Gunner/Master Gunner Course.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Required Education:
Bachelors degree in related field and at least 5 years of related experience. Experience can be substituted for educational requirements. Must have at least 10 years of related experience without a degree.

Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
