At Filton Plant, we are responsible for the manufacturing of A400M Wings, A350 Equipped Gear Beam as well as the production of some Additive Manufacturing parts and Research & Development packages of work.
We have a very multifaceted industrial environment and you will have the experience to work with different teams like manufacturing engineering, supply chain, operations, finance and others.
What you will be doing:
As a Plant Industrial Improvement intern at Filton Plant you will get exposure to:
Production and Manufacturing;
Plant performance data analytics;
Continuous improvement;
Business management ;
Airbus Operating System standards;
Environment, Health & Safety Improvement.
Amongst others, you will be tasked with the following:
Performance dashboard creation using data analytics;
Supporting Business Reporting;
Ad-hoc improvement project Management;
Supporting Business Improvement Manager in daily activities.
Requirements:
Our placements are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:
Studying towards a degree in Engineering, a Technical field, or equivalent;
Interested in data analysis and project management;
The ability to listen, understand and communicate information;
A strong interest in developing yourself;
Interested in finding creative solutions to complex problems.
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Eligibility to gain UK SC Security Clearance OR You will be subject to a BPSS check (including a criminal record check).
