Press Operator - SCI

Job Description:

Operates and processes parts in a press.
tReports any part or process deficiencies to supervisor.
tAdheres to company specifications, work instructions, engineering prints and work orders.
tSafely loads and unloads molds from press.
tProperly maintains and identifies defects in molds and report any findings to supervisor.
tLays up (builds) parts using primarily phenolic impregnated glass, and film adhesives.
tDocument the materials used in the process to maintain traceability.
tSafely handles various regulated materials used in the process.
tGeneral Notes:
tMust carefully handle raw material and manufactured parts to ensure the integrity and quality is not compromised by handling.
tAll employees have an affirmative duty to protect and maintain the confidentiality of C&D products.
tAs business conditions change it is necessary that all employees productively react and handle other essential tasks as assigned now or in the future.
tTasks may vary slightly based on products produced at division.

Job Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: Minimum 1 year stable employment history preferred. Previous Press Operator or equivalent experience preferred. Manufacturing experience preferred. Aerospace experience preferred.
Computer Skills: Basic ability with Microsoft products.
Other Skills: Ability to read engineering blue prints is desirable.
