Product Acceptance Speicalist B

$26.42-$31.42/Hour

Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for product acceptance, quality audits, and non-conformance resolution.
- Engage with the FSCC and Chronic Issues Team (CIT) to drive area improvements and provide objective evidence of results.
- Perform auditing, surveillance, and monitoring, documenting discrepancies, and controlling non-conforming items.
- Conduct product reviews with customers during product or process verification and initiate corrective action requests for repetitive or significant non-conformances.
- Identify and communicate risks to First Line Leaders, working with support organizations and team leads to mitigate performance risks.
- Plan for work statement changes, shift turnovers, and overtime requirements, including weekends and holidays.
- Provide on-the-job training (OJT) to teammates to enhance job performance.
- Support defect management, non-conformance resolution, and problem-solving during product operations and testing.
- Use precision measuring tools (microwaves, digital gauges, isoscopes) for inspections and ensure product conformance to design requirements.
- Perform paint inspections, repairs, and rework of composites, aluminum, titanium metals, and seal applications.
- Obtain and maintain certifications for fall protection, flight line access, and LOTTO.
Qualifications:
Education:
- High School Diploma/GED combined with 1+ year of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
- 1+ years of experience working with Velocity and production applications.
- 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- 1+ years of experience using analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
- 2+ years of experience working from heights with fall protection equipment (subject to weight limitations).
- Proficiency in NCR (Non-Conformance Record) and EPD (Emergent Process Document) generation (NC/NCR/RGEN/PU/SAT/SRR/PU or RGEN Revision).
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent lifting up to 10 lbs., carrying, climbing, working at heights, walking, and standing for long periods.
- Occasional reaching above shoulder level, bending, crouching, kneeling, and use of hand tools.
- Exposure to noise, sealants, metals, carbon fiber, adhesives, painted parts, and solvents.
