Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must have basic shop math with the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and calculate fractions and decimals.
Must have basic computer skills and be able to use computers.
Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively.
Must be able to move parts of 50-60 pounds with the use of lift fixtures.
Must be available to work 2nd shift.
Set-up and operate production machinery including, but not limited to: N/C mill/drill machines, pneumatic presses & injectors, hand grinders, NDT inspection, painting equipment, cranes, forklifts, ovens, blasting machines, ply cutters, layup tables, vacuum lines, CMM inspection machines, grinders, and similar machines.
May run multiple machines.
Perform intricate manual operations such as: layup, demold, deflash, kit cutting, and other similar operations.
Develop and improve basic work instructions such as methods sheets, drawings, sketches, etc., using past job knowledge and skills.
Work will involve a variety of metals, composite materials, and parts with close tolerances and fine finishes.
Keep work area and equipment clean.
Desired Qualifications
Prior manufacturing experience.
Ability to be flexible to work a 2nd or 3rd shift where needed.
Ability to lift 50-60lbs with assistants.
Additional Information
The hourly pay for this position is $19.75/hr. plus $1/hr. for the off-shift differential.
