Job Description:

Assist with all aspects of the production floor requirements, including the assembly and testing of products. Provides Operator training, technical support and solutions to help resolve production problems related to manufacturing processes, tooling and equipment.
1.tPerform Manufacturing Operations:
a.tPerform assembly and hand operations with specific tooling (screw driver, ruler, calipers, wire strippers, hammer, wire cutters & scales)
b.tOperates and adjusts equipment following general instruction. Make simple set-ups and perform routine, preventative maintenance & maintaining weekly calibration.
c.tSupply accurate information on labor reporting, material, scrap and process. Detect and report to proper supervision unusual or defective conditions.
d.tEpoxy preparation and applications called out on routings/drawings/process sheets. Ability to pull MSDS sheets as needed
e.tExecute repetitive assembly and hand operations on product delegated by leadership and/or due dates. Perform simple setups and perform routine preventative maintenance.
f.tConducting training for new employees in the product line to prevent single points of failure. Training encompasses various aspects, including basic tool usage, productivity calculation, inventory management (FiFo, Batch control, Scrap Tickets, Part ID Tags), raising concerns using the QRQC process, instructing on E-timer procedures, real-time completion of scrap tickets, and the ability to recognize and interpret bill of materials on both the DWG and Routing, ensuring proper documentation and alignment with revisions.
g.tIn-Process Validation as quality checks to verify that the product within your designated work area is assembled, tested, and spaned correctly to ensure its accuracy and compliance with standards.
h.tAble to build product to print adjustments allowed within the process and benchtop test equipment including but not limited to multimeters and oscilisopes
i.tPoint of contact for new product development prototype builds and manufacturability consultant

2.tTool Utilization
a.tElectrical testing (resistance and dielectric testing) and ability to test products as required and knowledge of power supplies, multi-meters and other equipment as necessary.
b.tVerify calibration of equipment and tooling.
c.tMust clock 100 of time on site in time tracking software
Job Requirements:

Basic Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED.
• 3 years manufacturing and able to perform all tasks within your department and become the department trainer
• Capable to train others within your work cell
• Performs to routing standards
• Must be willing to become a Safran certified solder (Completing recertification every 2-years).
• Interpret test specs and setup Benchtop troubleshooting measurement equipment, including but not limited to Oscilliscopes, Instron Equipment, Voltage drop at rated current, Mass Spectrometers etc…)
• Must be willing to undergo vision testing depending on customer requirements
Knowledge/Skills
•\tFundamental knowledge of electromechanical design strong enough to troubleshoot and repair most issues in one department.
•\tAble to learn how to perform new tasks quickly
