Job Description:- Acquire supplies, goods, and services required to accomplish the goals of the business.
- Decrease costs, maximize value, and reduce supply chain risk. Issue Request for Quote (RFQ), and Purchase Orders.
- Daily management of ERP system, company files/records, supplier status/rating, and maintaining organized email correspondence.
- Maintaining an organized filing system for all purchase orders, and supplier files.
- Maintaining production standards, including entering accurate order specifications and requirements.
- Coordinating order due date along with the production needs, and ordering materials and supplies from vendors daily.
- Provide management with on-time reporting, full sales and procurement analysis and trending.
- Maintain audit controls and compliance with all AS9100/ISO, local, state, federal compliance laws, rules, and regulations.
- Following all Procedures and Work Instructions pertaining to Purchasing in GSI Quality Management System (QMS).
- Assist all departments and teams, including but not limited to: Administration, Production, Engineering, and Quality with meeting all set goals and requirements in a timely and efficient manner.
Job Type:- This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site:
- This is a fully on-site position in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
Work Environment:
- This company machines aluminum hardware that goes onto aircraft cabinets and doors in corporate/private planes. 2 machine shops: one with 4 machines and the other with advanced overnight/technical runs.
- Work hours: Monday-Thursday 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Option for 4 9-hour days and a half day on Friday once settled into the job.
